The energy industry is facing some big changes, with power generated from sustainable sources on the rise. In fact, by 2030, the International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts that renewable energy will contribute up to 50% of global energy – up from 30% today.¹ There is still a serious need for the grid resilience and stability to protect vital community infrastructure, and Globeleq’s Kribi power station in Cameroon is a great example of that.
