In the marine industry the Geislinger dampers are used to reduces engine- excited torsional vibrations, to protecting crankshafts, camshafts, intermediate shafts, propeller shafts and other driveline components. while Geislinger couplings are used to separate engine vibration from the drive line to thus protect ing the drive-line components, reduce ing noise, shifting natural frequencies and increaseing overall drive-line lifetime.
