Since 1960, Nor-Fishing has served as a key international meeting place for the fisheries industry, showcasing innovations in fishing, processing, transport, and marketing. It is now one of the world’s largest fisheries technology exhibitions, regularly attracting thousands of visitors and exhibitors from major fishing nations. In 2018, it welcomed 20,000 visitors from 60 countries; in 2020, a fully digital edition drew 11,000 from 46 nations; and in 2024, 15,000 visitors and representatives from 53 nations attended, highlighting its continued global relevance and impact.
