Job description
At True North Marine an Accelleron company, we drive the digital transformation of energy-intensive industries by developing solutions that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. As part of our Digital Customer Solutions division, you will contribute to the development of intelligent and scalable products that enable our customers to achieve their sustainability goals.
As a Frontend Developer, you will work in a cross-functional agile team to develop and maintain our digital platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern web development practices and be able to create responsive, user-friendly web applications. Your technical expertise, curiosity, and drive for quality will help shape the future of sustainable digital solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Angular and/or React.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable code
- Ensure product security, performance, and maintainability standards are met
- Write unit tests to ensure product reliability
Your background:
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency in Angular and/or react.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Azure cloud services: App Services, Entra ID, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Service Bus, App Insights, CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with Material UI, SASS, Webpack, Babel, NPM
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with testing frameworks.
- Exposure to modern ECMAScript standards and tools
- Experience working with microservices architecture and distributed systems
